Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Lawdar platform. By using Lawdar, you agree to these terms.

01

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lawdar. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

02

Platform role

Lawdar is a directory and advertising platform only. It does not provide legal services, is not a party to any engagement between users and solicitors, and does not guarantee the outcome of any legal matter.

03

User conduct

You agree not to post false, misleading, or defamatory content; use the platform for any unlawful purpose; impersonate any person or entity; or attempt to circumvent any platform security measures.

04

Reviews

Reviews must reflect your honest opinion based on a genuine consultation booked through Lawdar. Lawdar reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these terms or our content guidelines.

05

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Lawdar disclaims all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform, including any engagement with a solicitor found through Lawdar.

06

Changes to terms

Lawdar may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

07

Lawyer obligations

Lawyers listing on Lawdar are solely responsible for the accuracy of their profile, fees, and availability. Listing does not create a solicitor-client relationship with any platform user. You must hold a current Hong Kong practising certificate and promptly notify Lawdar of any change to your practising status. Lawdar may hide or remove your profile if we suspect fraud, impersonation, or platform misuse, with notice sent to your registered email. Lawdar is not responsible for client matters, case outcomes, or fee disputes between you and any client.
